EasyPaisa for event ticket purchases
EasyPaisa allows you to pay for event tickets using your Telenor-registered mobile wallet or bank-linked account. It is one of the two main mobile payment options accepted on BuyTicket, alongside JazzCash. EasyPaisa payments confirm quickly and trigger immediate ticket issuance on successful completion.
You can fund an EasyPaisa account from any bank, through an EasyPaisa agent, or using Telenor mobile credit. The EasyPaisa app is available for Android and iOS. USSD payment (*786# on Telenor) also works for completing a payment without the app.
Completing an EasyPaisa payment at checkout
At checkout, select EasyPaisa as your payment method. Enter the mobile number linked to your EasyPaisa account. Confirm and wait for the on-screen prompt or the push notification in your EasyPaisa app. Approve the payment using your EasyPaisa MPIN. The transaction should complete within a few seconds.
The mobile number entered must match the one registered with EasyPaisa. If you have multiple mobile numbers, use the one where your wallet holds sufficient balance. An insufficient-balance error means the payment was not attempted — top up your wallet and try again.
EasyPaisa payment troubleshooting
If your checkout screen times out after initiating an EasyPaisa payment, check your order page before doing anything else. The payment may have completed even if the browser did not update. Check your EasyPaisa transaction history to see whether an amount was deducted for the order.
If an amount was deducted but your order remains unconfirmed, contact BuyTicket support with the event name, order reference, deducted amount and the EasyPaisa transaction reference. Avoid initiating a second payment until the first is resolved.
- Select EasyPaisa at checkout and enter your registered Telenor number.
- Ensure your EasyPaisa wallet has sufficient balance before starting.
- Approve the payment prompt in the EasyPaisa app or via USSD.
- Check your order status before attempting a second payment.
