What is BuyTicket?
BuyTicket is Pakistan-first event commerce for publishing events, selling tickets, issuing QR codes, and scanning entry.
Can we control when tickets go on sale?
Yes. Each ticket type can have sale start/end times, tax rate, inventory, and max tickets per order.
How does gate check-in work?
Staff open the browser check-in desk or scanner, enter or scan the ticket code, and admit guests with live attendance tracking.
How do refunds work?
Organizers process refunds from the order desk; buyers receive a refund notification when the refund is recorded.
Can we message ticket holders?
The SMS/WhatsApp console supports templates and broadcasts when gateway credits are configured for your organization.
Is there a mobile scanner app?
Gate staff can check in from the browser desk today. A dedicated scanner app foundation exists for offline sync pilots.
For Buyers
Which payment methods work?
Buyers can pay with JazzCash, EasyPaisa, and bank transfer, with checkout flows built for PKR.
Do buyers get a PDF ticket?
Confirmed tickets include a QR payload suitable for PDF delivery and door scan.
Can buyers browse without an account?
Yes. Guests can browse the marketplace and complete checkout; an account helps manage tickets and transfers later.
Can I transfer my ticket?
Supported events allow ticket transfer from the buyer account once the order is confirmed.
What if my payment is pending bank transfer?
Bank-transfer orders stay pending until an organizer approves the receipt — then tickets are issued.
